"TlaquepArte" returns to Merida

From December 3 to 6, the most important International Exhibition of Crafts, Jewelry and Decoration in Mexico, "TlaquepArte", will be held for the second time in Mérida, which will take place at the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center.

200 exhibitors from 16 countries will participate in the event, such as: Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Cuba, Guatemala, Paraguay, Ecuador, Turkey, Russia, Greece, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Senegal, Thailand, Egypt, among others; in addition to 25 States of the Republic.

For 24 years, "TlaquepArte" has been held in places such as: Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mexico City, Veracruz, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Torreón, Hermosillo, Tijuana, León and San Antonio in Texas; this being the 113th edition.

It is an international level exhibition, the most important in Mexico, which is a magnificent and unique opportunity to buy handicrafts, jewelry and decoration items directly from the manufacturers.

With regard to the products that will be presented, you will find: ceramics from Mata Ortiz de Chihuahua; boxes from Olinala, Guerrero; Silver from Taxco; Exotic woods from Cuba; paintings from Peru; carved wood from Ecuador; pottery and blanket clothing from Jalisco; Turkish jewelry; Coffee from Colombia; Russian costume jewelry; Egyptian rugs; Panama hats; as well as endless products from Latin America and the World.

As expected, there will also be the presence of Yucatecan producers and artisans invited through the House of State Crafts.

Admission to the event is free, from 10:30 in the morning until 8 at night; where the safety and health measures of the event will be applied: temperature check, application of antibacterial gel, mandatory use of face masks, sanitization of areas and merchandise upon entering, during assembly and daily at the stands.
