Metso presented new technologies and value offers to specialized media in Peru

Thursday, February 16, 2017.- In order to present the value offer in equipment and services that Metso has for the Peruvian and global industry, the Finnish company organized an activity inviting the most important specialized media in Peru.During the activity Presentations were given by their specialists, where they addressed topics such as: innovations, trends in the use of crushers, technology tailored to Peruvian mining, new mill lining technologies, programs that add value to products and operations, and a list of solutions that can be used in mining operations. “The technological innovation that we implemented at Metso allows the equipment to be more automated and versatile. In the past, we used the large Symons crushers, although they were not as efficient as the MP or HP crushers," explained Maruja Domínguez, CE Sales First Line Manager, Metso Peru. She also highlighted the technology of the new Nordberg MP 2500, with a head diameter of 3,290 mm (129”), a feed range of 50-560 mm, a power of 2,500 HP and an approximate capacity of 5,000 TPH. “The design of different mechanical and productive aspects of the machines affects increased capacity and efficient use of energy,” said Pablo Ludeña, Crusher and Screening Manager, Metso Peru, who spoke about crushers and crushing equipment. “We want to improve the productivity of your crusher by 30% with our upgrades of new generation crushers”, added Ludeña.
