The National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (Consar) put a cap of 0.57% on the annual commission that the Afores will be able to charge their clients starting next year.
This Tuesday the modifications to the Agreement of the Governing Board of the Consar on commissions were published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) that indicate that as of January 1, 2022, none of the 11 Afores will be able to charge more of that proportion to workers on their pension savings.
Currently the ceiling is located between 0.65% and 0.69%.

“The maximum to which the commissions charged by the Retirement Fund Administrators will be subject will be published on the website of the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System for the first time no later than the last business day of October 2021 ”, explained Consar in the DOF publication.
