What is known about the film theft in the El Poblado building, in Medellín

In a statement, the building's administration reported that the support network was notified from its monitoring center, while the thieves were still in the building's facilities.

"The competent authorities were immediately aware of the event. Those who entered did so with a specific objective. Offices on these floors were not assaulted, it is not a massive theft," the statement says. But this was not the only robbery that has occurred in similar circumstances in the city. On December 16, wearing green jackets, pretending to be members of the National Police and with an alleged arrest warrant in hand, men entered a gold trade in downtown Medellín and committed a million-dollar robbery. The balance was 190 million pesos and 700 grams of gold stolen. Another unusual event occurred on January 10, when 2.3 billion pesos in cash were stolen from a house in the Belén La Mota neighborhood, in the southwestern part of Medellín. It all happened when eight people entered a house in a residential complex in this sector and, according to the Police, they arrived at the place with the excuse of seeing the house that was available for rent. While some dedicated themselves to making the tour inside this house, others dedicated themselves to stealing money.
