The balance was 190 million pesos and 700 grams of gold stolen. Another unusual event occurred on January 10, when 2.3 billion pesos in cash were stolen from a house in the Belén La Mota neighborhood, in the southwestern part of Medellín. It all happened when eight people entered a house in a residential complex in this sector and, according to the Police, they arrived at the place with the excuse of seeing the house that was available for rent. While some dedicated themselves to making the tour inside this house, others dedicated themselves to stealing money.
