The Center for Reception and Documentation of the Port of Huelva hosts from today until February 11 the exhibition El Agua and El Puerto, organized by the Huelva Association and its photographers.
The exhibition exhibits 40 images that have as its protagonist the estuary and the surroundings of the port of Huelva with the aim of publicizing different spaces and elements, which are part of the history of the city.
During the opening today of the exhibition, the president of the Port of Huelva, Pilar Miranda, thanked the Huelva association and its photographers to organize this exhibition, “since it values the port of Huelva, as the economic engine of Huelva andAndalusia, and highlight the role that water plays, through the estuary, in the port-city approach ”.Pilar Miranda has highlighted the quality of the images and has encouraged citizens to discover the port of Huelva through the gaze of photographers, who participate in this exhibition.
For its part, the delegate of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía in Huelva, Bella Summer, has assured that “these 40 snapshots are faithful reflection of the importance of the port for Huelva and how necessary it is for its growth.In addition, the Board, like the port, has not stopped betting on culture.A bet linked to the impulse of employment in the sector.We believe in culture and heritage as a generator of wealth and economy for Andalusia.A sector that constitutes the third pillar of the community economy ”.
